5 regulars at Lochalsh Art Fair are holding an exhibition at Plockton this month. Some great new works…
One of our favourite artists, Barabara Harrild is holding an exhibition with photographer Sam Nicolson in Plockton Hall next week – May 4th – 9th (closed on 7th) 10am-4pm.
This years Art Fair will be on 22nd to 26th August, in Dornie Hall as usual. Looking forward to seeing you all and this years new pictures. We will be sending out information to artists nearer the time, but if you want to know more have a look at the info for exhibitors page or drop us an email. Also email us if you haven’t exhibited with us before and would like to.
Phew, that went by quickly! A good turnout again this year for the Art Fair with lots of good comments & feedback, locals and visitors alike and the local schools had a good time visiting as ever. Strathprint chose 7 pictures to go in their next years calender. This years favourite picture as chosen by you folks was Nicky Dagnall’s Stormy Skye (featuring two wild looking sheep). We look forward to seeing it on next years poster. Although the number of pictures was down on last year, sales were up. About 25% of paintings sold. Not sure why, maybe there were just more good pictures…who knows?

A busy night last night at the preview. Great to see everyone and catch up with lots of local artists and other friends. Thanks to Manuela’s Wee Bakery, Lenice Townend, and the West Highland Dairy for the catering and some great music from the Renewables (Donald and Harvey). We’re open through til Wednesday with a late opening night on Tuesday (9pm) – hope to see you.

Well that’s it til next year! This years Art Fair was the biggest yet with 156 works on display from 64 artists. Unfortunately sales were down a bit from previous years, but we had just as many visitors, including the local schools. Six pictures have been chosen by Strathprint for their 2014 calendar.
