You’ve probably guessed that this might happen! After some discussion the organisers have decided it would be best to cancel this years exhibition. A real shame, as we were looking forward to seeing this years local artistic output, but we think it is the right thing to do. Hopefully next year things will be back to some kind of ‘normal’ and by then, with two years worth of artworks to draw from the quality is likely to be exceptional. Can’t wait!
The 11th annual show was a another good one! About average in size but visitor numbers were up on last year and sales very good. Some new artists and lots of interesting new work, some of which will now be in homes in Lochalsh, Skye, Fife, Hampshire, Holland, Pennsylvania and California. Thank you so much everyone for supporting local art, and thanks in particular to everyone who helped out, especially Lindsay (for hanging the pictures) and Lis & John for the music.
Our biggest show so far with 166 works by 64 artists….don’t miss it! Open til Wednesday, late opening tuesday evening, Dornie Hall.
Not long to go now til this years Art Fair… 23rd- 26th September – it’ll be in Dornie Hall as usual. If you are interested in contributing have a look at the info page on this site and/or email us and we’ll send you the details and a form.
A great show again this year with 149 works by 57 artists – our second biggest exhibition in the nine years we’ve been running. Lots of new exhibitors, and as ever, lots of surprises. A big thank you to everyone who helped out.
Time is whizzing by and the 2017 Art Fair will be here soon! This year it runs from 10th – 13th September. If you want to enter anything send us an email for info and an entry form or check out the information page on this website. Looking forward to seeing all this years work!
Despite concerns about the show being later than usual, it turned out to be up to its usual standard, and we’ll probably stick with September for next year. This year there were 117 pictures from 45 artists, and we included some sculpture again. Thanks to everyone who helped out.
